Elite is solely focused on making the multiplayer great and I believe that is does a good job of doing so. This mod does interfere with the campaign but if you want campaign launch it through steam (the mod comes with its own launcher) and it doesnt really change last stand so the vanilla game is recommended for that too. They GK faction is very strong but I know in the next update they are looking into correcting this, GK used to be OP as hell on the tabletop so I'm just kinda used to dealing with that lol Normal DoW2 mulit sucks and is extremely unbalanced, this mod aims to fix that while adding tons of new units, skins for factions (good quality and free), and even the all new Grey Knights faction.
You will not get banned from steam or this game for using this mod as there is no VAC and you are only playing against other elite using people. Very easy to install, it comes with a install wizard that only ask where your install of DoW is (where the install folder is on your drive). So last questions: is it 100% free? can there be any problems with getting banned for using mods? and is it easy to install? I just started the game with some friends and we have problems with the normal multiplayer and it feels kinda unbalanced so this mod looks very tempting.
